Electra : Electrode Type Boilers
Operating Principle:-Electra - Electrode Type Boiler differs in principle from the other technique of heating water or manufacturing steam as the water within the shell is used as an electrical resistance through that the current is passed. This causes an increase in the temperature of the water.
Construction:-
Electra - electrode type steam boilers are manufactured as a packaged unit mounted an a chassis, installation contains the fitting of the pipe, cold feed, blow down, drain, escape valve, air vent pipe and the connection of the electrical offer.
The current supply consists of specially designed electrodes in the sort of scrolls in order to maximise the electrodes space. Automatic controls for top steam pressure and high & low water level within the boiler shell are provided through a completely pre-wired board thereby creating the operation extremely easy and simple.
Advantages:-
- Compact size.
- Safe, easy-to-use heat supply - no on-site product of combustion.
- Easy and fast to install, they need only water connection and electrical hook-up.
- Steam is available at the flip of a switch.
- Designed as per IBR 1950, punctually approved from the IBR inspectorate.
Capacity Range:-
Electra Boiler is obtainable in steam capacities from fifty Kg/hr to 1320 Kg/hr
