Industrial Chimney Manufacturers, Suppliers & Exporters in India

A   steam boiler   assembly, be it any fuel (solid/liquid/gaseous) used for combustion, the flue gases coming out of the Induced draft fan, coming from air preheaters and dust collectors, enters the chimney to conclude this process before getting released to the atmosphere. Self-supported type  Chimneys  can be provided suiting the boiler size. It can be designed and manufactured as per IS-6533 standard to ensure compliance. Working The chimney’s working is based on the natural draft or stack effect. As we know, the density of a gas reduces, with rising in its temperature, so because of this reason when the flue gases enter the chimney, the buoyancy forces of air come into action and help in carrying the flue gases out of the chimney.  In the case of a Boiler assembly employing an Induced Draft Fan , the flue gases are brought to the chimney by this fan and then buoyancy forces deliver them to the atmosphere. These buoyancy forces depend upon th...

HOW CYCLONE DUST COLLECTOR WORKS?

A cyclone dust collector is a device used to enhance the quality of air released from industries & commercial processes by separating dust and other impurities from air or gas. In the case of boilers multicyclone dust collector is used to remove particulates from flue gases. Dust collectors are particulate control devices that use centrifugal force & gravity settling to collect pollutants. A high speed rotating air flow is established within a cylindrical or conical dust collector called a cyclone. Air flows in a helical pattern. Larger particles strike the outside wall and then fall to the bottom of the cyclone from where they can be removed easily.

6 REASONS WHY STEAM TRAPS FAIL

There might be numerous reasons which cause  steam trap failure. Failed traps waste fuel, reduce efficiency, increase production costs of the steam and condensate systems. REASONS Feed water contamination Improper feed water treatment Oversizing or Undersizing of steam trap Selection of wrong type of steam trap Condensate Contamination Incorrect Installation of steam trap

7 BENEFITS OF SONIC SOOT BLOWER IN BOILER

SONIC SOOT BLOWER Sonic soot blowing  is cleaning of fouled surfaces by compressed air. Condensate Recovery Systems

Condensate Recovery Systems Introduction: An introduction to the reasons for  condensate recovery System ,  that including energy costing, water charges and  water treatment costing  and included calculations for potential savings. Steam are mostly generated for one of two reasons • To produce electrical power, the example in the steam power stations and co-generation plants. • To supply the heats for heating unit and process system. When 1kg steam condenses completely, 1kg condensate is formed at the same pressure and temperature. An efficient steam will reuse this condensate, makes non-financial, technical and environmental sense. Saturated steam is used for heating to gives up its latent heat, which is a too large proportion of the total heat its contain. The remainder of the heat in the steam is retained in the condensate as sensible heat in fig. Pressurised Condensate Recovery Module (PCRM)  is a unique system wherein the condensate genera...

Air Pre heaters

Air Pre Heaters   Air pre heaters                 Air preheaters are provided in boilers to preheat the combustion air. Types           There are two main types: Tubular or recuperative air  pre heaters Regenerative air pre  heaters  Tubular or recuperative air pre-heaters are provided in boilers of a medium and small range of steam generation . This type of air pre-heater becomes very large in size if they have to be used in very high capacity boilers like 600 TPH of steam production and above.  Regenerative air per-heaters are compact and can have a stationary or rotating hood. A combination of a tubular and regenerative type of air pre-heaters is used in very high capacity boilers . " The tubular being used for primary air heating and the regenerative used for the secondary air heating ." In case the boiler designers do not want to go for a combination of tubula...

Steam Accumulators

Steam Accumulators Like any other machine, boiler manufacturing has also undergone a sea-change in the last century. Today’s boilers are much more efficient than the boiler so past as there has been constant pressure on designers to make these more and more energy efficient.   The ever-increasing competition has forced the boiler users to turn to non-conventional fuels, which in turn has resulted in compact boilers to suit the demands. Today the boilers have been reduced in size as higher efficiency and quick response is the demand of the day. Compact designs are preferred so as to have the lesser footprint and initial costs have also reduced as the buyers need cheaper options. However, to meet these demands, one important aspect of boiler design has been compromised i.e. water & steam holding space. The actual energy gets stored in a boiler in form of water it holds as saturation temperature. Greater the amount of water holding volume in a boiler, greater is the ...
