Saturated steam at temperatures below 100°C is called vacuum steam.

VACUUM STEAM |
Vacuum steam is generated at higher pressures after which its pressure is reduced by using equipment such as pressure reducing valve.
- A vacuum pump is also usually used to achieve necessary pressure differential at start-up to enable the smooth release of condensate.
- Production of saturated steam for heating below 100 degree Celsius
- Improved productivity and product quality
- Temperature can be quickly and precisely established
- Smaller required heat transfer surface area, enabling reduced initial equipment cost
